Melita clinches rights for Serie A, athletics

Melita Sports has acquired rights to air over 150 Italian Serie A fixtures which kick off on Saturday, and the Athletics Grand Prix of the International Association of Athletics Federation from the UK next Sunday.

The first Serie A match to be aired on Melita Sports will be Inter vs Sampdoria at 8.30 p.m. Milan vs Bologna and Roma vs Napoli air on Sunday at 3 p.m., while Fiorentina vs Juventus shows at 8.30 p.m.

This season, Melita Sports is also broadcasting over 350 live Barclays Premier League games and all 125 UEFA Champions League matches on eight dedicated sports channels, besides a host of local football and rugby games.
