Two men were arrested this evening on suspicion of having robbed a lotto receiver in Burmarrad a few minutes earlier, the police said.

A spokesman for the police told timesofmalta.com that the suspects were arrested by the Mobile Squad after fitting the description given by the lotto receiver.

The lotto receiver was approached by two men while walking to her car after closing the establishment. The burglars escaped with a bag containing cash from the receiver's car.
