Towards the end of last year, the ADT announced a special concession that allowed owners of "undocumented" classic vehicles to re-register their vehicles.

This concession was something that the Federazzjoni Maltija Vetturi Antiki as well as classic vehicle enthusiasts, had been lobbying to get for years.

The ADT has collected thousands of euros from us but nothing has materialised yet. There is no valid reason why after paying so much money, we should not be able to re-register our vehicles. The excuse we keep hearing is that the Vintage Board which processes the applications has not been re-appointed following the general election of last March. I personally know of one club member who has applied, paid money to be able to enjoy the use of his classic vehicle, but has since died. This gross injustice should be remedied immediately.
