Call for clear policy on high-rise buildings

Labour Party spokesman on planning Roderick Galdes said it is about time that a clear policy and national strategy on high-rise buildings is introduced.

At present the country has no concrete policies on how projects which entail massive high-rise structures are approved, he pointed out.

He said that high-rise buildings could be advantageous but they should be planned according to the exigencies of the country, because otherwise they could have a negative impact.
