Ira Losco and her band have just returned from Prague where they headlined and closed a five-day festival in aid of YMCA, attended by over 10,000 youngsters from across the globe.

"This festival was a great opportunity to promote the work of YMCA. The signing session we held right after the gig was a success. The appreciation of an audience is always the best part of playing a concert," Ms Losco said.

"Festivals are always ideal for gauging the interest in an artist's music and having a good billing position is a very effective way to broaden one's audience," said her manager Howard Keith, from Jagged House management.

"In live music there is no such thing as a limit to how much experience you can acquire. Living it at first-hand is always a great asset. The reaction Ira and her band got confirms that this new album appeals to a variety of different territories abroad and the act is confident and well prepared," he added.

Ms Losco's last performance this summer will be given on Saturday at the Gozo Music Festival, in Gozo, at 11 p.m. Fans are invited to meet Ms Losco and her band after the performance at the merchandise stand where they will be signing copies of Fortune Teller.
