Update 3: Corpse identified as Birkirkara woman
The corpse of a woman found in the sea off Dingli Cliffs this morning has been identified as being that of a Birkirkara woman aged 50, the police confirmed this evening.
The woman was initially thought to have been a tourist. Her name was not disclosed. An autopsy will be held tomorrow to establish the cause of death.
Her body was recovered by an AFM patrol boat after having been spotted by a fisherman.
