Astra Folk Group participate in festival

The Astra Folk Group from Victoria, recently participated in the 44th International Folk Festival in Billingham, UK.

This is the first time a Maltese group was invited to take part in the festival. The groups paraded in the main streets. Public squares and in the town centre of Billingham. The town mayor and festival director praised the Maltese group for their performances. The group was headed by Anton Zammit, Joseph Borda and George Farrugia.
