Vandals destroy two skips in San Ġwann
A mattress dumped between two skips was set alight on Thursday night in Triq R. Caruana Dingli, San Ġwann, spoiling the skips completely, the local council said yesterday. Personnel from the Civil Protection Department prevented the flames from spreading to a public garden nearby. Following a rise in vandalism, mayor Rene Savona Ventura has called on the police to increase their night patrols.
