FARRUGIA. On August 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY of Cospicua, aged 75, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Carmen and her husband Joseph, Anna and her husband Anton, Josette and her husband Rennie, Manuel and his wife Shirley, Jacqueline and her husband Rosario, Silvio and his wife Melita, and Mario, grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, in-laws and their respective families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9.45 a.m. for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Collegiate church, Cospicua, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10.15 a.m., followed by interment at Mqabba cemetery. MERCIECA. On August 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, aged 63, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Therese née Galea, his son Dr Karl Mercieca and his wife Marsha, his daugher Katia Mercieca BA, LLD, his in-laws Sylvia Galea, Frank Galea and his wife Anne, and Mary Hardisty of UK, Sandra, widow of his brother Godwin and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Balzan parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MIFSUD CREMONA. On August 14, at St James Hospital, Sliema, Paul, aged 65, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Mary née Coppini, his children Karl and his wife Jackie, Roberta and her husband Sandro Pace, his grandchildren Michaela, Katrina, Kyra and Francesca, his mother Giovanna, his sister Dorothy and her husband Alfred Abela and his brother Peter and his wife Pauline, nephews and nieces, relatives, friends and colleagues. MILLER. On August 14, LINA née Demajo Albanese, widow of Edward, aged 93, passed away peacefully at Casa Antonia, Balzan, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her beloved sons Ray and his wife Simone, Gerald, her grandchildren Sarah and her husband Thomas Jacobsen, and Kate and her husband Magnus Wiberg, her great-grandchildren Alexander, Anna, and Max, her sister Victorine Cassar, her in-laws, nephews and nieces and all her relatives and friends.
