Karl Chircop's condition improves
An improvement has been registered in the condition of Labour MP Karl Chircop who fell into a deep coma on August 3.
Michael Farrugia, a colleague and a doctor who has been following Dr Chircop closely, told timesofmalta.com that a slight improvement was registered in the past few days but he still needed a lot of prayers and care.
Dr Chircop is in intensive care at Mater Dei Hospital.

though I don't know this young doctor I have always followed his talks from the television, but I always liked his charismatic style way of talking, and I can't stop thinking of him in my prayers and also for the other doctors who are caring for him and mostly for his wife and his young family, may the Lord help him in all his needs to regain his health and be back with his family and friends.God bless

Even though I haven't seen you for quite some time, actually since our teenage years, I've been following your career from afar, It has been gratifying to see you achieve what your dad would have been so proud to have seen you do. I am deeply saddened to hear of your unfortunate mishap, still, without knowing the extent of the damage, I know that if anyone can pull out of this this, YOU can. We want to see the friendly smile of a top bloke again. NEVER GIVE UP! EVER!
Cheers to you. Jeffrey Farrugia Sydney Australia.

If nothing else, reading these comments about Karl Chircop is an uplifting experience! Even from his bed in hospital Karl is able to move people, although he cannot physically move himself. He is teaching us all the true value of living, family and above all politics! He is helping us reflect on true and lasting values. For that we thank you Karl!
Dear Lord,
Please continue to work your miracle through Karl and, if it be your will, help him return to his family and to all those who love and respect him.
Amen

Good news Michael! Thanks for all your constant care and that of Dr Joe Cassar who, i know, is giving his utmost for Karl's recovery, in spite of his challenging task at Mater Dei. Oh yes, such instances prove that some politicians do have a heart! As Gavin says, Karl fights incessantly anything unjust in life!
Karl is one of the most ethically correct and intelligent politicians i have ever met and i feel honoured to have him as a close friend. When i last visted him in hospital he didn't radiate his usual smile but had a serene face... a mirror of a loyal and dedicated servant of all of us in need - whether his medical profession or his political acumen. Dear Adriana affectionately held his hand and am sure the Lord was and still is holding the other!
Our hearts are with you dear friend! Our prayers will support you and your loved ones!
