Zimbabwe authorities confiscated the passports of opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai and other MDC officials at Harare airport, the party said today.

"They have taken our passports. This is a reflection of their insincerity. They want to talk to us yet they behave like hooligans," Movement for Democratic Change Secretary-General Tendai Biti told reporters.

The MDC said Tsvangirai was due to travel to South Africa to attend a summmit of regional grouping SADC after power-sharing talks with President Robert Mugabe stalled this week.
