Performers to mass pipes and drums for next Military Tattoo

The countdown to the forthcoming Military Tattoo has begun and tickets can be booked from both the internet and various outlets.

Featuring the participation of the First Ħamrun Scouts Group, the Police Corps and the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM), among others, the tattoo is in its fifth edition and has attracted hundreds of people to watch it each time.

The tattoo will feature the Police Corps' the Special Assignment Group (SAG), Precision Drill Team and band. The AFM band will also take part. The bill includes the Wallace Pipes and Drums Band. Foreign performances will include the Turkish Bursa Mehter Ottoman Band, the Estonian Elite Club Piruett and the Welsh Guards ACF Band.

A massed pipes and drums performance and a massed band finale will also take place.

The tattoo will take place on October 11 and 12 from 6 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Selling at €10, €15, €20 and €50, tickets are available from www.biljetti.com.
