The Żabbar Sanctuary Museum is to hold an open day on September 7, when the public will have an opportunity to take a guided tour.

In spite of the fact that the museum was inaugurated more than 50 years ago, there are still a lot of Maltese history enthusiasts who have never visited it, the organisers said.

During the open day the museum will be open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 7 p.m. Guided tours will be held at 9.30 and 10.30 a.m. and 4.30 and 5.30 p.m.

The Sanctuary Museum is situated in Pjazza Tal-Madonna Medjatrici, Żabbar, near the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces.

Entrance is free.
