An Italian man has been jailed for two years suspended for four years after admitting to being in possession and importing cannabis.

Mirko Spata ,20 from Ragusa admitted before a court to importing the cannabis resin on and before Wednesday. The court heard how Mr Spata is currently on holiday in Malta, staying in Paceville. After taking into consideration the small amount of the drug found Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera jailed him for two years suspended for four years.
