Air Malta's flights to Brussels returned to normal yesterday after the end of a strike by baggage handlers.

The flights had been temporarily operating to and from Liege Airport because of a strike by baggage handlers at Brussels airport. Free coach transfers between the two airports had been offered by Air Malta.

The national airline said it regrets the inconvenience and apologised to its customers for the disruptions which were caused by circumstances beyond its control.
