A 38-year-old man has been arrested after being caught with nine packets of heroin in his possession and another 30 packets in his car on Monday, the police said.

The man was detained by the Drug Squad following police observations in the public gardens and bowling club in Fgura to identify people allegedly trafficking drugs.

Duty Magistrate Silvio Meli has appointed a number of experts to assist in the inquest.
