Teenagers admit theft
Two teenagers, a boy of 16 and a girl of 15, this morning pleaded guilty before a court to having stolen a handbag containing €90 in cash, a mobile phone worth €480, a digital camera worth €810, a second mobile phone worth €350 and an MP3 player worth €480.
The theft took place at Footloose in Paceville between Wednesday and Thursday last week to the detriment of Svetlana Kirillina and Irina Popova.
Police Inspector Bernard Spiteri told the court that the boy is now in prison for violating bail conditions on that night. The girl was granted bail against a personal gaurantee of €1,000 until sentencing tomorrow.

bar/club owners in paceville do not want under 16s in their clubs. mostly because the majority of them dont have cash on the hip and also because they deter adults with money to spend from choosing to enter the establisment. so dont keep on about prosecuting the owners as you cant check everyone's age when entering the club, now or then a couple of teens are going to get in one way or the other.

You're wrong. 16 year olds are allowed in nightclubs.

What were these two minors doing at a nightclub? Why wasn't entrance restricted to over 18's? Yet another law, goes unenforced!
