Man accused of seriously injuring his son
Renald Vella, 32 of Senglea was remanded in custody today after he pleaded not guilty to seriously injuring his teenage son Franklin in an incident yesterday at 11.30 p.m. at a residence in Fgura.
He also denied slightly injuring Micheline Orsini of Fgura, causing damage of over €116 to the home, using a pointed instrument, threatening the two people and breaching public order.
Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna denied a request for bail.

Without entering into the merits of the case, and speaking in general, this is yet another example of 'happy families'!
