Another fall victim succumbs to injuries
A 60-year-old man who was seriously injured in a fall on July 23 died yesterday, the police said.
The man was helping workmen carry material up a flight of stairs at a residence in Triq il-Gallina, San Ġwann when he fell a height of one storey. He was immediately rushed to hospital after suffering grievous injuries and was in a critical condition.
He is the second man in so many days to have died of his injuries after a fall. A 59-year-old died on Sunday from the injuries he sustained when he fell a height of one storey as he was repairing the stairwell of his house in Paola.
