29-year-old denies rape charge

A 29-year-old man from Kercem has been arraigned in court in Gozo and accused of raping a woman and holding her against her will.

The case allegedly happened last Sunday.

Adrian Vella pleaded not guilty and was remanded in custody

Inspectors Louise Calleja and Frank Tabone prosecuted.
