A 25-year-old Gozitan was yesterday arraigned for allegedly posting pornographic material of him and his girlfriend on the internet. He was reported by the woman, who saw intimate moments of the two together exposed publicly after she decided to end the relationship.

The boyfriend, who was abroad at the time the report was filed, was arrested as soon as he returned to Gozo.

Inspector Josric Mifsud charged the man with posting the pornographic material. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail against a deposit of €600 and a personal guarantee of €2,400.

The man is not being named to protect the woman's identity.
