Seven arrested after drug haul
Seven people have been arrested following a drug haul at a party in Ta’ Qali last night.
The men are a 22-year-old Spaniard who had been in possession of cannabis and amphetamines and six Maltese men aged between 16 and 25 from Siggiewi, San Gwann, Zabbar and Valletta. They had cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis and amphetamines, the police said.
The amount of drugs found on one of them indicated it had been intended for trafficking during the party.
The persons are to be arraigned in the coming days.
