Provisional data for international trade indicate that the visible trade gap last June stood at €91.8 million, down by €14.4 million from the same month last year, the National Statistics Office (NSO) said yesterday.

This was due to a drop of €46.1 million in imports and a slide of €31.6 million in exports.

The decrease in imports involved fuel and lubricants and industrial supplies.

On the other hand, machinery and transport equipment, mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials and miscellaneous manufacture articles accounted for the drop in exports.
