Trapped family rescued from cave

Three foreign children and their mother were rescued by the Civil Protection Department at about 5.30 p.m. after they were trapped in a cave in Marsalforn, Gozo.

The family found themselves in difficulty while swimming due to rough seas.

Rescuers reached the family by abseiling down the cave in which they were trapped.

relax debono, actually you're the only one who saw the fairytale, seeing as no one mentioned miracles. I'm glad everyone emerged unhurt. Well done to the civil protection department!

This is getting sooooo silly.... There was no "miracle" there! Simply the civil protection department doing their job. Could you people please stop attributing even the simplest of human intervention to divine fairytales ????
