Embellishing Buskett

Embellishment works are currently under way at the Buskett Gardens in the limits of Rabat. The works include the reconstruction of a number of damaged rubble walls, cleaning of the water course, the installation of bins and other miscellaneous maintenance. During a visit to the gardens, Minister for Rural Affairs, George Pullicino (first from left) said a plan is being formulated together with the Malta Environment and Planning Authority and NGOs to limit those areas accessible to the public, identify areas which require maintenance and repair, and to identify sites where more trees can be planted.
