More heritage for our enjoyment

We have all long heard words and fancy speeches about how we need to protect our historical heritage and how indeed this heritage is our heritage as a people. It is thus very welcome news to see that the St Thomas Tower in Marsascala has now been passed by the government to the Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna. Through such actions the government continues to show its full commitment towards protecting our heritage and towards making sure that indeed we as a people can enjoy this heritage whilst saving it for future generations to come.

Thanks to such moves, we as a people can start making better use of such historical sites as is going to be the case with this tower after it has been restored and developed by the foundation which also deserves due credit for its work.
