Perhaps it's just my impression but I think that the PN know the psychology of their opposition so well that they knew all along that by booing Jason Micallef they would only make the majority of MLP delegates want to keep him all the more. Not because the MLP are so fond of him, far from it, but simply not to satisfy, and as usual to completely oppose, any of the PN's wishes.

In this case, however, by doing this they just downright fell for it and gave the PN exactly what they wanted all along, a good reason for the people's complete and final lack of confidence in the MLP's capacity for change.
