Since the introduction of the parking ban in the city, I have regularly been parking at the St James ditch. I can't tell you how filthy this area is.

I plead with the depart- ment concerned to take the necessary steps for a major clean-up operation, right up the stairs that lead to Freedom Square which sometimes is also used as a public toilet.
