Following the election of the key administration posts on Monday, the Labour Party elected the 10 officials on the national executive late on Tuesday, the second and final day of the extraordinary general conference.
Of the 33 contestants, the following were elected: Claudette Abela Baldacchino, Mario Azzopardi, Ġuża Cassar, Gino Cauchi, Chris Cilia, Charlon Gouder, Alfred Grixti, Alexander Sciberras, Salvu Seychell and Nikita Zammit Alamango who was elected instead of Michael Cohen as a result of a positive discrimination clause in favour of women in the party statute concerning the national executive.
In all, 774 votes were cast, of which seven were invalid.
The attendance by delegates was not as strong as it was during the first day of the conference when the key election for general secretary took place.
