Officers, senior ratings and cadets from the East Kent District of the United Kingdom Sea Cadet Corps are in Malta as guests of the Malta GC Sea Cadet Unit TS St Paul.

The group, which is under the command of Lieutenant Commander (SCC) Allan Robbins, is composed of 26 cadets and staff from four units: Margate, Folkstone, Whitstable and Herne Bay. The cadets are here on a training and sightseeing camp and are the 52nd group to visit the islands in the last 20 years.

During their stay the cadets will be engaged in activities such as swimming, boating, abseiling and canoeing.

Last week the East Kent District Cadets paid a courtesy visit to President Eddie Fenech Adami, who hosted the group at the Palace in Valletta.
