High Commissioner speaks at London Rotary Club

Malta's High Commissioner in London, Michael Refalo, has carried on with his series of speaking engagements at UK Rotary Clubs.

As the Malta Rotary Club's senior active member, the High Commissioner enjoys automatic entry to UK Rotary Clubs.

"I have found it is a most effective way of getting across to various audiences in different parts of the UK, promoting Malta by explaining who we are and what Malta is about," he said. Recently, Dr Refalo was guest speaker at the London Rotary Club, the oldest chartered Rotary club outside North America.

He gave London Rotarians a broad brush review of the history, culture, constitutional and entrepreneurial development of the Maltese people.

At the end of his address, he was presented with a London Rotary Club Speakers Certificate by Sir Sigmund Sternberg.
