Boundary wall at Msida garden
The Msida local council said works related to the building of a boundary wall at the garden in front of the parish church have been commissioned by the Malta Maritime Authority and approved by the council, in order to protect commuters from structural defects in parts of the garden.

I pass Msida seafront at least twice a day and I must say that the area deserves some serious embellishment. May I suggest one big garden extending the existing garden "ex: torpedo depot" as far as the zebra crossing opposite the church. I doubt whether the old slipway by the traffic lights / bus stop is really needed anymore. Come on Msida Local Council, your beautiful town deserves much better than a boundary wall.

Rather than scrapping the passage way and rebuilding it from scratch... you build a boundary wall and leave the defects as they are + making the passageway narrower and is also an eyesore.
A very intelligent move indeed by the MMA & Msida Coucil!!!

The garden in question is in a shambles - quite disgusting! It should be refurbished completely and more plants and vegatation put. This is very much needed even for the Square itself, a place where so much traffic passes through every day. It is in the interest of all those who live around the Square. Remember that the greener the environment is, the healthier for US!
