AD praises joint diplomatic initiative

Alternattiva Demokratika yesterday congratulated the government on its initiative to open embassies in Ramallah and Tel Aviv.

"The opening of joint diplomatic representations, together with Cyprus, in Ramallah and Tel Aviv is doubly significant in that not only does Malta send out a clear message on the recognition of the two state 'two peoples living peacefully side by side' concept, but also sends out the strong political message that, in Mediterranean and international politics, Malta is actually working with a European mentality by teaming up with other EU states on joint projects," said AD chairman Arnold Cassola.
