PN, AD congratulate MLP administration

PN general secretary Paul Borg Olivier and AD Secretary General Victor Galea have congratulated the officials elected to the MLP executive.

Dr Borg Olivier augured that the MLP general secretary would work in the interests of the nation at a time when the country was going through major reforms to strengthen its economy and the people’s quality of life.

Mr Galea said he hoped that the choice of Labour's officials would mean that the diversity of opinions in the country would be respected and that different ideas were seen as enriching political debate.

Though Labour never congratulated the PN for its General Elections' March 2008 victory the attitude of Paul Borg Olivier on behalf of thPN and Victor Galea on behalf of the AD is ample proof of basic manners which others clearly lack. When I had remarked on Walter Veltroni's gesture who had phones Silvio Berlusconi just a couple of hours after the pools had shown an electoral victory for the PDL, a few regulars took me to task.
As Babs say 'they lack class,style and elegance' which was clearly demonstrated by Borg Olivier and Galea. As it should be!
