MEP visits roads lab
Labour Member of the European Parliament John Attard Montalto yesterday visited the Solid Base Laboratory at Tal-Ħandaq where materials used in the construction of roads are tested.
It was also important for contractors to carry out tests in order to know what materials were being purchased, Dr Attard Montalto said. This also applied to the government. The EU preferred such tests to be carried out by independent laboratories, he added.
