Customs seize illegal imports
Customs officials seized 796 bottles of alcoholic drinks and 2,680 cigarettes, the duty on which had not been paid, last month, a spokesman said. The items were found in the course of inspections in establishments to check on illegally imported items.
The spokesman said that taxes due on the items seized last month amounted to thousands of euros.
