Well done to the minister for taking the decision to clear up St Anne's Square of the Magic Kiosk in Sliema. Now, the next move should be to clear up those rusty old kiosks at Għar id-Dud promenade which are only an eye sore to the tourists. It is also about time that the permits for the newly built kiosks be issued to tendered operators for a limited period of time and not to the same operator forever.

Liberalisation will benefit consumers. Besides, Sliema deserves a cleaner and more beautiful environment.
