BoV launches 6% sterling deposit account

Bank of Valletta has launched a new, attractive deposit opportunity in sterling, offering an interest rate of six per cent per annum. The new BoV sterling deposit account is being offered until August 16. It may be closed earlier at the bank's discretion.

Bank of Valletta has launched a new, attractive deposit opportunity in sterling, offering an interest rate of six per cent per annum. The new BoV sterling deposit account is being offered until August 16.

It may be closed earlier at the bank's discretion. The two-year account can be opened with a minimum balance of £1,000. The interest rate is guaranteed, as is the capital invested in the account.

This is the first deposit account denominated in sterling with a preferential interest rate that is being introduced by Bank of Valletta since the introduction of the euro.
