Amir Mohammed Ahmed was this afternoon accused of threatening two people with a "hard object" and causing voluntary damage exceeding €116.47 and disturbing the peace by shouting and fighting.

Mr Ahmed, aged 36, pleaded guilty and was given an eight-month jail term suspended for two years.
