Live waterpolo on TV

Melita Sports has acquired the rights to broadcast exclusively a minimum selection of six live water-polo matches from the 2008 and 2009 BOV National Waterpolo Championship. This is the first time that Melita Sports will broadcast live waterpolo matches.

In what is also a first for local waterpolo history, the matches will be broadcast through a complex outside-broadcasting setup consisting of seven camera angles.

Sports journalist Sandro Micallef will provide live match commentary and analysis, exclusive pool deck comments and interviews with top match players.

Melita Sports will broadcast the first game tomorrow featuring Sirens vs Sliema. Live transmission from Tal-Qroqq National Pool starts at 6.15 p.m.
