BOV launches new Sterling account

Bank of Valletta has announced the launch of a new Sterling deposit account offering an interest rate of 6% per annum. The new BOV Sterling Deposit Account is being offered between the 4^th and the 16^th August 2008, both days included.

The BOV Sterling Deposit Account is a 2 year account that can be opened with a minimum balance of £1,000. This interest rate is guaranteed, as is the capital invested in the account.

This is the first deposit account denominated in Sterling with a preferential interest rate to be introduced by Bank of Valletta since the introduction of the Euro.
