Westin Dragonara Resort marks 11 successful years

The Westin Dragonara Resort has just celebrated its 10+1 party.

The event, which kicked off with a welcoming speech by hotel manager Michael Kamsky, was the fruit of a successful journey of 11 years - the Westin Dragonara's 10+1 anniversary, a journey that started in 1997 with the birth of the first Westin in Europe. During the years over half a million people have found in the Westin a home away from their own, a spokesman for the resort said.

The journey would not have been made possible without the continuous investment in the hotel by the owners, the support and loyalty of clients and also the commitment of all associates.

One lucky guest at the event was the winner of the much-coveted Westin Heavenly bed, which was on display during the event.

The event featured themed stalls to represent the different hotel outlets and the newly-developed Westin concept - super foods. Guests enjoyed their night by indulging in the delicious food prepared by Keith Gatt, executive chef, and his culinary team and showed off their dancing and singing techniques to accompany the Prestigious Band, a German band flown to Malta especially for the occasion!

The event was an unqualified success as evidence by the comments received after the party from a large number of companies, the spokesman said. One such encouraging comment was: "Having returned from Malta, I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for the superb evening on Friday. I was told that you do throw good parties and it was really great to have been part of it".

All the departments worked together to ensure that the event is a success like other events organised at the resort.
