Peter Perotti, general manager of Valletta Fund Management Limited, gave a review of the sales performance for the quarter ending June 30, in particular the success of the monthly investment plan campaign.
"When the market goes through a period of volatility, such as the one we are experiencing, your emotions and confidence can fall and rise. While it's normal to feel unsure during these periods, it's important to keep in mind that bear markets are as natural as bull markets and that there are alternative investment solutions to help you regain some control over your portfolio. Experienced investors know that trying to pick the right time to get out and back in the market can be an expensive and frustrating experience," Mr Perotti said.
Investing regularly, he added, can help take the emotion out of investing.
The sales seminar was also addressed by Mark Vella, head of marketing at Valletta Fund Management Limited, who spoke about the bond market.
