Splash and clean

The operators of Splash & Fun Waterpark said today that the police will be pressing charges against an individual who allegedly spread malicious rumours about water quality at the park.

The operators said the pools are regularly checked by a third party and an independent company and also by the health authorities and have always been found to be clear and safe.

“The management is also collaborating closely with the Police Force who will be pressing charges against an individual who allegedly spread such rumours. The operators of Splash and Fun are proud of the service they have been providing for the past 20 years and would be taking all legal action against those persons found to be responsible for originating and/or forwarding or spreading such false and fabricated rumours,” the operators said.

Splash and Fun should do better than this! They ought to issue a press release confirming or denying outright persistent and seemingly well-founded rumours that a significant number of people ended up in hospital with ear and throat infections after visiting Splash and Fun. Unless they do so, they cannot blame people who after hearing these rumours pass them on to others. After all, young people visit Spash and Fun and they should be protected. When Splash and Fun issue this statement, I will gladly visit this park as it is quite enjoyable and worth it.

Civil actions, yes. But criminal action, I don't think so. Unless a profit was made. As if splash and fun, is a public traded company, and someone do that, so the stocks go down. Where than the culprit or a friend buys a stock at a low price, do to the rumor. And tries to sell it later for a profit. Than I could see it being criminal. If he only did it for the sake of it. It becomes civil. Not that I condone such rumors. Such rumors are vicous. If he screamed it out loud, and people rushed out of the water and people got hurt, then it's a criminal matter. This sounds like a civil suit.

Nice to hear that the park is clean and that children can enjoy themselves without getting any infections!
There are more things that can be done especially the cleanliness around the water park and that the owner is more cheerful and welcoming when guests are entering the park. I hope that this is read by the owners themselves as I am a person that sends alot of tourists to visit the park!
