Ninety-five illegal immigrants consisting of 80 males and the rest females were escorted to Birżebbuġa by the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) last night after they were rescued by the AFM. The immigrants were in a good state of health, the police said.

On Saturday evening, 28 illegal migrants, including two women, arrived at Għar Lapsi.

The immigrants were passed on to the immigration police.
