Istanbul bomb blasts kill 13 people - governor

Thirteen people were killed and 70 were wounded on Sunday in Istanbul in two bomb explosions, news broadcaster NTV quoted Istanbul governor Muammer Guler as saying.

The television showed ambulances carrying heavily wounded people to hospitals from the busy shopping district.
