Green Pak scheme endorsed by Malta Chamber of Commerce

The Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise have officially endorsed Green Pak, the only authorised waste packaging scheme in Malta, for the recovery of packaging waste.

As a result of this endorsement, chamber members who sign up with Green Pak will be fully compliant with the requirements of the Packaging Waste regulations set by LN277/2006, which requires companies to recover and recycle packaging waste put on the market by their businesses.

Through this agreement, members of the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise who join the Green Pak Scheme will be entitled to additional benefits, including free Green Dot registration, free collection of warehouse packaging, and financial reductions depending on the tonnage registered on the scheme by chamber members.

The chamber believes that Green Pak allows legal compliance at the least possible cost.
