College holds SAC Fest 08
St Aloysius' College, Birkirkara, organised the fourth consecutive edition of SAC Fest 2008 - a four-day outdoor festival, comprising a series of evening concerts performed by current and past students and teachers, as well as guest bands Drive and Beige, Nadine Axisa, Ġanni Zammit, Eric Wadge and Renzo Spiteri, who entertained the audience with exceptional music.
The festival also included a thanksgiving Mass, sports tournaments, pasta and barbecue nights and children's games.
The festival served not only to re-unite past and present students but also to welcome pupils from Stella Maris School, Balzan, which became St Aloysius' College Primary School on June 1. The event, held in May, officially closed the celebrations marking the 100 years since the college first opened its doors.
