The other real offences
The report saying that a number of Swedish youngsters were charged in court with indecency because, as a prank, they wore their boxer shorts in Paceville smacks of antiquated fundamentalism. The Magistrates' Court should have thrown the case out.
If the police thought that wearing boxer shorts was indecent what should they say about the innumerable young girls who were shorts that are much shorter than men's underwear? What about those who run around with no top? This was an offence some years ago.
Instead of going after petty incidents like these, the police on duty in Paceville should be arresting barmen who sell drink to under-aged people or charge those youngsters who habitually vomit and lie on the ground after drinking a cheap bottle of wine.
The young policemen on duty in Paceville and other places of entertainment should do their duty without fear or favour.
They had better look harder for the widespread sale of drugs. If they cannot do the job themselves they should talk to the youngsters who will tell them that drugs are easily available.
It seems that so many people know about what is going on in these areas of entertainment except those who really matter.

during the afternoons? Is that an offence too?
In that case, and by the standards of arresting the Swedish youngsters, the police should be very busy, both in afternoons and evenings!
