Drago, Borg for two UK tournaments

Tony Drago and Alex Borg will be taking part in two snooker tournaments in the coming weeks.

The first tournament will be the Paul Hunter Snooker Open at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds. The tournament, which will be held for the second consecutive year, will be played in memory of former professional Paul Hunter. It has attracted 100 entries and will be played between July 27 and August 3.

The second tournament will be the Pontins International Open Series (PIOS) in Prestatyn, Wales between August 4 and 8.

Drago and Borg will be among 148 players from all over the world. This will be the second tournament from a series of eight at the end of which the top eight in the rankings will earn a place in the 2009/10 World Snooker Main Tour.

In Prestatyn, Drago will play Jake Nicholson while Borg's opponent will be Stephen Welsby, both of England.
